MmmmK.
When I was younger, I had some really good friends that were mormons. We had a lot in common with me being a Witness and everything. I am still friends with a few of these folks on facebook.com.
My Betty Page profile picture I have on here, was also my profile picture on facebook. I had 2 mormons send me an email and ask me to remove it because it was offensive and it was "pornography" they cared not to see.
AAAHH can you believe that? Pornography???? A naked woman?
guh. It's just that Ultra-Christian, thinking it's so weird to me now. It makes no sense.

Re: Mormies
Mon, February 25, 2008 - 9:13 AMThere is a this really sweet woman that just moved in next door to me. I kind of have a thing for her. :) She used to be mormon, well she's baptized morman, so she technically still is. I think maybe that's why we click so well.
Btw, I noticed you're from Oregon. She's from Eugene, but used to live in Salt Lake. -

Re: Mormies
Mon, February 25, 2008 - 5:39 PMWell, I also didn't mean for this post to seem intolerant of other beliefs. I mean, I was really irritated at the time.
And I have maintained friendships for years and years with people that are mormons, so I didn't want it to come off derogitory.
I just thought it was terrible that a beautiful naked woman, - NOT PERFORMING A SEX ACT, would be viewed as pornography and also that they would have the BALLS to tell me, I should change it.
It's one thing to be offended because you're viewpoint of women is twisted, it's another to presume to ask ME to change it.
That said..............
Some of the nicest people in the world, that I've known have been mormons, and I had a lot of things in common with them when I was a witness. -

Wed, February 27, 2008 - 3:26 PMMandy,
Remember, according Mormons and JW's, there were no problems in the Garden of Eden until a naked woman showed up...
Look at my profile, there is graphically painted picture of a naked woman in my photo album. I encountered this image in a museum in Paris about 10 years ago. It is what started me down the path of freedom. I couldn't decide if it was art or pornography. Then I saw a group of grade school kids on a field trip and they had no problems with the piece. Something clicked in my head..."Somebody taught me to be freaked out about this!" Then I thought... "what else did they teach me to be freaked out about?" That set me down the path to eventual freedom! I am not surprised they want it removed. That is the kind of stuff that breaks down their faith. -
