so yeah...reason why i haven't really had much to say lately has been that we've had to break camp due to carbon monoxide poisoning...along the way, i remembered job. when i was younger, i remember asking why yhvh would allow satan to mess w/ job. she said that it was to prove his omniscience...he knew that he'd win the bet before satan put down his money. hmm...touche mum...

this time, i'm stunned that they had an ongoing conversation in the first place. hmm...that sorta cracks the idea on omniscience...why would yhvh ask where satan was if he already knew? also...reading the lolcat version is much more entertaining than the masonic bible version i got last year when i completed my 3rd degree...btw: i'm doing eastern star this weekend...so excited about the whole thing. masonry seems to be a much bigger container than jw's. it's not a religion & that's cool w/ me b/c i'm on a hair trigger when it comes to xtianity...

anyway, does anyone know the deal w/ the bottle gourd? why's it so important in the story? also, has anyone else on the list gone back to the bible stories w/ a critical eye? looking back, the stories aren't all i remembered.
